Sessions

Sessions will be provided either face to face, Zoom (online video) or telephone.

Upon arrival to Chadburn house, the receptionist will ask you to sign In, you will be asked to take a seat.

At the agreed session time, I will come and collect you and welcome you to my room and we will work to make you comfortable.

During your first session we will explore what has brought you into therapy, your expectations and aims from therapy giving me an opportunity to get to know you better and begin our therapy journey.
time will also be given to exploring my therapy agreement form which contains details of the sessions, payment details, cancellations and endings.

Frequency

The frequency and reliability of weekly therapy sessions over a period, contributes to a feeling of safety and trust. This makes it easier for you to access that vulnerable part of yourself, meaning you can work on a deeper more effective level. This is often the level at which we need to work to allow healing, growth and restoration to happen.

Our therapeutic work will be reviewed on an ongoing basis to check that our work together is continuing to offer you what you need.

Free consultation

I offer a free initial telephone, online or face-to-face consultation of 20 minutes.

Finding the right therapist is important and so the initial consultation is designed to see how it feels being together. In this space we can explore your reasons for wanting therapy and what you hope to achieve. You can also find out more about me and my way of working, as well as any other questions you may have. We will also arrange a date to book in for your first session.

I invite you to contact me by email, text, or phone to begin our therapeutic journey together.
